Here is an interesting and fascinating interview, by Maria Hinojosa, with Francisco Goldman on WGBH. He wrote several novels before his great non-fiction book, The Art of Political Murder, where he reconstructs and investigates the murder of Guatemalan’s human rights leader, Bishop Juan Gerardi – one of the most controversial murder cases in contemporary Latin America.
There is also a nice reference to the Cuban great José Martí, who featured in his novel, The Divine Husband, allowing the opportunity to see again his poem La niña de Guatemala.
